Day 2

  Day 2 of our mission is complete!! We started off with a delicious breakfast of pancakes and fruit. We prepared for VBS and shared lunch together. Church in Honduras started at 3, so we hopped in the back of a truck to get there. The church service was amazing. Although the service was in Spanish, we could still follow along with the hymns and liturgy which is the same Lutheran liturgy that we follow at St. Paul. Pastor led all of the hymns with his strong voice, and his sermon was about missions.   After church, we were able to visit with pastor’s family and set up a small soccer game with the kids which made us even more excited for VBS!  Back at the hotel, we had delicious tacos for dinner and had our meeting to prepare for the next day.
